A TURQUOISE-GROUND 'DAYA ZHAI' JARDINIERE, 19TH CENTURY, 14.5 X 10 X 9 CM.

Of slightly flared rectangular form, painted on the two longer sides with a bird perched on the trunk of a wisteria-entwined tree with peonies beyond, all on the turquoise-ground inscribed 'daya zhai' in iron-red and with one seal, the shorter sides with wisteria alone, the base with the mark Yong Qing Chang Chun, in iron-red.
